:aww: Very cute  The eyes are amazing, they look like they have little lights shining inside of them. :faint: I also love the shading on the cheeck, it gives it that real "curve". Good job on the background too, am I right in saying that I see a moon and some tall buildings behind curtains?
:iconabdka5:
The eyes took me forever to draw :faint: But is was definately worth the time and the effort. I'm very pleased with the way her eyes turned out. As a human, she has very pretty eyes and I really wanted to portray that with the drawing. I got a good tip from another artist on here for her eyes that really helped. I also love her little nose. She has this really cute nose and I worked hard to make it look real and cute...

As for the stuff behind the curtain, you're actually seeing a skylight in the upper left corner, a "sun fairy" that has the crescent moon shape from a gleam off another object and the dark areas are items sitting on a shelf.. it's the curtian on the door that leads out to the mudroom.. which sports a skylight in it to help with lighting issues. But that's a great guess... If I didn't know any better I would have thought the same thing you did!!

Thank you for liking this one! It's one of my faves.... and thank you for making it one of your faves too :glomp:

Hehe, silly me, now I understand.
You should be very rpoud of this drawing, it is technically very strong, plus it's cute, and what more could you want?
When I was seven, and my rbother was nine, he drew me too... well a "caricature" it was kinda funny at forst, but after a while I went "Hey, I don't look like that".
:iconabdka5:
I don't want to sound like I am bragging or anything... because I'm not!!!
But, this one is one of the drawings I am most proud of.. because of the strenght in the features and the shading of this one... and yes, it is cute (but then, I'm her Mom, I will tend to think it's cute... :lmao:

Thank you so much for all your kind words :glomp:
